If you can't do the bitter, then stay out of this beer's path. Put together in the West Coast style of IPA making, Pariah Brewing's bitter beer is likely your dankest nightmare.

Pale, hazy and glowing dimly gold, Wicked As Sin leans on the scent of tangerine, herb and complementary tropical aromas for a bright citronella perfume. Simple and sweet as the beer introduces to the tongue, the malt profile captures a taste of powdered sugar, angel food cake and wafers to get itself going.

Anything sweet soon acquiesces to the hops as soon as the ale splashes against the middle palate. A billowing display of tangerine, valencia, white grapefruit and grape carries from a strong orange presence and into the world of slight juicy honeydew, apple, passionfruit and lemon. Spicy with grassy hops and bitter with a stern sticky resinous mouthfeel, the beer's late palate is decidedly sprucy, botanical and hemp-like.

Medium bodied and carrying a hint of sweetness into finish, the seemingly fructose sweetness amplifies the impressions of fruit while the hops finish the session crisply, cleanly and highly refreshing with a long, bitter aftertaste of juniper and gin.

Color is bright copper and leaves a very white head that gives way to nice lacing. Nose is dank! Taste is piney with a bitterness across the entire palate.

From the can: Our modern take on a West Coast IPA. Wicked as Sin is apologetically bright, crisp, and refreshingly bitter. Notes of tangerine hop candy, lemon rind, pine, resin, & earthy dankness.
