Taster at brewery. Copper/amber pour. Aroma is hoppy, astringent. Taste is hoppy and oily. Not sure if this what was meant to come out. A hard drinking mess

Tap
Pours clear deep golden, white film of a head retains indefinitely.
Aroma of fresh fruity and piney hops over sweet bready malts.
Flavor of biscuity malts and some citrusy hop notes followed by piney bitterness.
Medium to full body, tingly carbonation on the tongue.
Very drinkable with a pretty pour, an amazing aroma, and an enjoyable flavor. I wish there was just a bit more sweetness to the malt profile. That would take this from good to great. Otherwise still solid and definitely worth trying. I miss the heyday of the west coast IPA and I hope it's making a comeback.
