Atmosphere here is OK, nice bar and plenty of TVs to watch games, something lacking though, and hard to pin down exactly what. Bar is fairly long. Service was OK. Pretty spacious otherwise as there are a number of tables spaced in the rest of the restaurant area. Lots of sports memorabilia adorns the walls.
Beer runs the spectrum from mediocre to decent. Nothing too special, style wise or flavor wise from the brews they did have on tap. It was worth trying and nothing was drain pour quality, it's just that nothing stood out. I had the sampler when I was there, so I got to try everything. I then had a pint of the IPA because it was the best of what they had.
Set in a strip mall environment, a few miles from the freeway. Nothing to go out of your way for, but it is in fact one of the few brewpubs in the general area as further south is the craft beer wasteland known as San Jose.

Nice clean and friendly atmosphere. Alot of windows and plenty of room for a nice open and bright place to be. Nice wooden bar with flat screen TV with all the games on. Service was pleasant and upbeat and knew their beer inside and out. I had the IPA, which was frantastic and extremely refreshing, they also had a Porter, Amber, a Boys of Summer Wheat, Hef, and a Mango Fruit. Not overly busy but there are the regulars that come in and every one I met was nice and friendly. Food was good old pub grub, and went nicely with their beer selection. Great place for the big game or a cold drink. They have this pretty cool mug club, after 20 beers, you can bring in your own 20 oz mug, and they will fill it for the cost of a 16 oz, and they will keep your mug there and clean it for you. Great place.

The atmosphere is somewhat like a sports bar, I believe this is the Fremont Brewery that was once at a golf course. TV screens are all around including a large one. The bar is cozy with a lot of regulars even from the Fremont Brewery days; also there is a lot of beer, golf, and sport paraphenalia and an outdoor patio to the North East side.
Jack's has wooden tables, chairs, booths, and bar. Large glass windows separate the boiling room even from the outside and a window separates the fermenting room from the inside. Restroom is clean.
Service is friendly and prompt.
The selection is mainly British American with (I believe) some guest beers and the cask is only available on certain days of the week. ESB, Amber/Red, and Porter highlight Jack's list with some American fruit and wheat options (seasonal).
Typical Pub Grub, I have not eaten any food there in a while. I do recall some healthy options.
The value is right in line with the other Brewpubs in the area.
