A: Pours a clear pale yellow color. A small white head recedes to nothing pretty quickly. No real lace to speak of.
S: The hop character in the nose, is citrus fruity and that is about it.
T: The bare minimum of a citrus, fruity hop character here. Very light bitterness. Not a lot of punch here.
M/O: A light almost watery body with low carbonation. This needs to be more crisp. Other than that, just kind of blah. Not particularly bad if you don't think about it. Just not something I"m looking to get again.
With the name, I was expecting some kind of peppery, spicy hop character. This just seems lackluster. Also, apparently this is an "Oat Pale Ale" so in that regard, I would also expect a really silky smooth body. Which is just watery and thin to me. Not really impressed.
