Located right in the middle of this little logging town, beautiful setting right on Priest River. Owner/ brewer was working and took some time to chat with us. We ordered two flights between the two of us, so we got to sample most of their lineup. The pretzel they serve is huge, so it was a great palate cleanser. Nice spot, fast, friendly service. Well worth a visit.

I visited Timber Town while passing through Priest River a few weeks back. When I was there, they had 10 beers on tap plus some canned cocktails. The beers covered a pretty standard array of styles: pale, hefeweizen, amber, IPA, porter, and something called "Idaho potato beer", which was actually pretty good - like a savory pilsner. I would say overall the beers I tried were pretty decent, but nothing particularly blew me away. Not bad at all for such a relatively new brewery, though (less than a year old at this point).
Befitting the name, there’s lots of wood in this taproom, and though it looks rustic it’s clean and new. Big pictures on the wall harkening to the logging past (and indeed present!) of Priest River. The brewhouse itself is also visible around back of the bar area, which I like. Overall I quite dig the vibe here. Business was slow on the day I visited, but service was friendly and quick. They have some food as well - sandwiches and brats and stuff, though I didn’t try the food.
