On tap at Fattey Beer Company in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a very dark black color, with a small head, and a little bit of lacing.
This smells like roasty coffee, dark chocolate, and some dark fruit.
I really tend to sleep on Okay Beer Company, and I really shouldn’t. They make some great beers, and this is a great take on a somewhat forgotten style. There’s some nice chocolatey and fruity sweetness, but mostly burly roastiness with a nice herbal character.
This is medium bodied, creamy, and quite drinkable.
There’s a lot to love with this one, I hope they keep making it.
