Small place on the main drag on the south side of downtown. Taproom has L-shaped bar opposite the entrance to the right that seats about 8, and covered and uncovered picnic tables out side on the porch and lawn. 14 beers on tap and cask, eclectic mix, including a couple of mushroom beers. Unfortunately they would not fill my 32oz growlers, and I did not feel like buying one of their 64s.

Visited the taproom with Da Boss after grabbing a sandwhich and a beer at Hilman Brewing Old Fort on 5-12-23. Totally spaced taking a photo of the place :(

Vibe was very nice. The indoor space was very clean with a small bar that maybe seats 6-8 people. There were a small handful of tables inside as well. Outdoors there was ample room with maybe 6-8 shaded tables adjacent to Catawba Avenue. In the back adjacent to the parking area there were more tables that allowed for privacy and the kids to roam. Cannot recall if pups are allowed.

Quality of the beers is excellent with each small batch receiving a high level of attention to detail with a nice mix of traditional European styles and new age takes on some old styles, particularly the Saisons that are brewed.

Service was perfect. Chris Whaley, Da Boss, and i had a wonderful ongoing conversation for the two pints i enjoyed. He made you feel like a lifelong friend! Chris was very forthcoming about his background and how and why he founded the brewery. Such a nice and humble man! Did not get a chance to chat with his wife as she was busy with other customers.

Selection was very good with an extra quarter point for the two cask engines and a nice representation of traditional beer styles.

Overall totally loved my visit here! Chris expects that his friend will have a complete build on his food truck in August with a focus on Pizzas and other Italian foods. I truly look forward to my next visit here, hopefully late summer or early fall.
