On tap at Kennedy’s Irish Pub in Zurich. Tasty, drinkable, went well with the chicken cordon bleu that is apparently the national dish. At Swiss prices, certainly not worth it.

Solidly amber in color. Clear. Average head which recedes a little more quickly than most. Some shorter streaks and minor spots for lace.
Strong caramel aroma. Mostly sweet. No notable hop. Very British in style.
The caramel persists through the tasting, although the hop meekly makes a presence. Relatively rich but the lower carbonation enhances this effect. The finish remains mostly malty, but there is a white pepper bitterness in the background. The finish is chewy and more of the same, although the aftertaste lingers weakly.
