There are so many things wrong with this beer's name. First, the lower alcohol content precludes this from being an actual Tripel. Second, the flavors are missing the typical Belgian yeast flavor and bite which provides balance.
The look is amber colored and clear. Modest head that dissipates quickly to minuscule rim bubbles. Only a couple of spots for lace.
The smell is unusual with an almost balsamic vinegar aroma. Sweet caramel.
Relatively thin for such a sweet beer. The carbonation is also low making the brewer watery. Lots of caramel with strong sugary sweet malt cloying flavors. While I don’t expect any hop (which this beer has none), it does need something to provide some sort of balance. Shorter aftertaste.
