16oz can. No dating information found. Label has this information: "Brewed at Apex Brewery Monroe, NY".
Hazy, pale gold colored body. Two fingers of white head quickly collapse to a thin cap and ring. Leaves behind partial lacing rings.
Aroma of mango and pineapple.
Taste is semi-sweet with a bitter bite. Flavors of pineapple, grapefruit, and mango. More herbal and woody in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. Softer texture but still has a clean finish. Good carbonation.
Less sweet than expected, with strong fruit flavors.

On draught at the brewery. Served in a half-liter mug. It's an attractive pour: hazy, dirty yellow in color with a big, fluffy, bright white cap and extensive thick, soapy lacing. The smell is bold and citrus-forward with lemon, grapefruit, pineapple, and just a hint of stone fruit. Its taste is equal to the nose with tart lemon peel and grapefruit rind balanced by tropical sweetness, including ripe pineapple. There is mild, clean bitterness throughout. It is well-bodied with pleasant carbonation, and highly drinkable at 5.5% ABV. Overall, Helen Hazy is an impressive American Pale Ale. It is flavorful, refreshing, and very easy to drink. It would be ideal for warm weather activities. I bought cans and am looking forward to enjoying them.

Available in cans or on tap.
Near opaque haze. Dirty yellow coloration (i mean that in a good way - it is a hazy) Lingering head. Nose is hoppy with notes of bright fruits. Just an absolutely fantastic taste to it. All facets - malt, hops, yeast, blend together very nicely and smoothly. Medium mouthfeel. A beer you want to appreciate, not crush. I would give it the win over the neighborhood competition. This is in the conversation of the best beers they have brewed, and they've made a few good ones at this point. Recommenced for sure.
