Can from Uptown Market.
A clear golden yellow with a dense white head with good retention and lacing. The nose is bright, tropical fruit, cooked citrus, mild strawberry. Malt is minimal. The palate opens bright with lots of fruit, both fresh and cooked. Strawberry, grape, peach, tropical fruit. Mild honey. No real malt character, allowing the focus to be on the hops. Bitterness is mild. Could use something dank to balance the fruit. Solid.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 8/21/23 -- fresh!
Appearance: rich golden hue with just a dab of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam with a chunky lacy on the glass.
Smell: an interesting mix of lightly toasty malt and floral aroma. There's almost a sense of earl gray tea here, with a slight citrus adding that light bergamot character. I like it.
Taste: similar to the aroma, there's a lightly citrusy flavor here along with a toasty malt. It reminds me more of like an English pale ale than an American IPA. I think this is probably due to being a single-hop beer: there's not much scope to develop complexity. So, it's decent, but not super interesting.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I want to like this beer more. It seems well made and all, but the single hop just can't quite deliver a particularly interesting character.
