Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a light to medium golden amber with a fine, big three finger white head with good retention and solid lacing. Aroma of pale malt, citrus hops, orange, lemon and grapefruit. Flavor is pale malt, citrus hops, orange, grapefruit, lime and faint wisps of tropical fruit. Lemon/lime finish with good bitterness.
Medium bodied with moderate creaminess, more body than usual for an IPA. This one delivers on its promise with a nice mixture of citrus flavors with orange as the dominant flavor. The citrus is the main show, but there are hints of the tropical fruit that I'd expect from Idaho 7 and El Dorado. Very refreshing and a nice showcase fo the citrus flavors. Has more bitterness than the Orange IPA I had last year and I like this one better. I'd like to see this one again.
