No date on the can; they usually release around Mid-march for St. Pat's day. Pour is an opaque dark brown. Light head. Aroma is very light and floats away. Taste is as-advertised: quite dry with a mild bitterness keeping up with the dark malt; but falls short of bringing forward that dark roasted flavor of a dark stout. Mouthfeel is light on the finish. We will enjoy the cans we have left.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 2/20/25.
Appearance: very dark brown hue with a haze-free body and a finger of frothy tan foam atop.
Smell: kind of astringently roasty malt with a bit of toastiness and some nice caramel aroma as well. The hops come off as a little vegetal, though.
Taste: like the aroma: a little caramelly, a little roasty, and just a little vegetal at the end. It's not bad, but maybe it's a little rough around the edges.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: not too bad. Not my favorite example of the style, but I won't have any problem finishing it.
