Added to the BA database on 16 Nov 25. Pour is very dark opaque brown. A finger or two of frothy head. Nose is a an undistinguished whiff of roasted grain. Taste is quite dry, just as you'd expect. Allowing a bit of time to warm slightly will be rewarded with full and smooth taste of dark coffee with a background of fig and raisins. Feel is quite good for Porter, keeping a good dose of carbonation to enjoy into the finish. Just 5.3% ABV
Although it's a new beer for them, we recommend this Ported as good for a cool, rainy, fall evening by the fire.
