A bit smaller than her sister on Noviy Arbat, this Molly Gwynn's is still a nice watering hole in a good part of Moscow. There is one room, clearly divided into two sections. To the left is the dining area for about 50 people. To the right is the bar and bar stool seating for another 25 or so. Good rendition of a British pub, with a carpet floor, plaster and beam ceiling, plaster walls with English-style prints and kitchen utensils for decorations. Low ceilings add to the British flavor. There is lots of wood, from the bar to the stools to the tables to the chairs. The music is too loud pop. There are too many employees, even when the place is full. The female staff is dressed in kilts, while the men wear slacks. The menu is standard British fare (incongruously sans what I would consider the obligatory fish and chips) and a bit on the expensive side.

Seven taps - Foster's, Red Stripe (unique in Moscow, I believe), Bombardier, Harp, Guiness, Kilkenny Cream and Edelweiss. The beers are all served in mugs sporting the Molly Gwynn's logo, but are well conditioned and in good shape. The lack of a local option is a strike against the place, but if you are looking for a respite from day-to-day life in Moscow, this is a good haven.
