a tasty cold ipa as they were calling it when i was in, listed now at 6.8% abv on their board. this is nicely done from a technical standpoint, super blonde and clear and light, definitely with a lager sort of crispness and dryness and lightness to it, without any real yeast flavor though, and a radiant and modern, super fresh hop profile, with a now familiar and known strata hop bouquet front and center, really nice. this sparkles in the glass, and the nose is awesome, honeydew, mango, faint green onion, lime zest, papaya, guava, and lemon, very bright, and with so little from the grain base here. the flavor has nice balance, some bitterness too which i like in the style but is less common, and some uniqueness to the hops, tropical for sure, but not overly juicy, and with it being so dry, they kind of flash in all at once, slightly candied in flavor but not in sweetness, and then almost disappear on the swallow. i like it not being overly bold, it drinks easy, refreshing even for being this hop forward. slightly grassy, soft feeling, a pils malt note, very clean overall, enlivened carbonation, near expert level quality, pretty impressive for a new operation. this place is cool, the beers were more than solid, and i expect them to do really well. one of the better cold ipa types ive had since the style blew up.

BA has yet to recognize "Cold IPA" as a category, so I'm calling this an IPL. Apparently it's brewed with Citra, Strata, and Eukanot hops.
16oz pour at the source, consumed outside on their covered patio.
Clear, golden color, with a decent sized white head. Beer neglige-style lace.
Nose isn't too terribly dominant. I get citrus and melon notes.
Flavor is a bit more interesting than the nose. Mildly grapefruity and melony type hop flavor. Fairly light bitterness at the swallow.
Medium bodied, with a crisp mouth feel.
Okay. Nothing revolutionary, but it got the job done well.
