I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a three sample flight whilst in Spokane for work. It poured agon opaque dark amber with ecru head that left some lace. The beer was good and had typical American stout smell and taste. Overall it is a great beer.

Poured into a Fremont small snifter. Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing nearly opaque in the glass with a one finger khaki head with great retention and moderate lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, coffee, bakers chocolate and a little chicory. Flavor is dark toasted malt with light char, bitter coffee, bakers chocolate and a faint hint of caramel. Coffee and cocoa finish. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A very pleasant dry stout that is mostly American style, but with some suggestions of a European export stout. Enjoyable coffee and chocolate character and good flavor depth for the ABV. Nicely done.
