Vienna Lager

I tried this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a three sample flight whilst in Spokane for work. It poured a clear copper with white head that left some lace. The beer was good and had typical Vienna Lager smell and taste. Overall it is a great beer.

Poured into a Reuben's Brew pint glass. Pours a medium golden amber with some coppery notes and a one finger white head with good retention and light lacing. Aroma of lightly caramel malt, mild apple and fruit and light grassy hops. Flavor is light caramel and light biscuit malt, apple and lemon and mild grassy hops. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Seems to be a faithful rendition of the style with the malt and mild fruit flavors I expect, perhaps with a little less hop presence, but within the parameters. It is nicely balanced and quite pleasant. I don't drink lagers much any more, but have always had a soft spot for Vienna lagers and this one is a good one.
