16oz tallboy can purchased at Huckleberry's, in Spokane, WA, for $4.19. Label states it was canned on March 27, 2025. Love that Uprise does that. I wish other local breweries would do the same.
Poured into a pint-sized "can glass", this was a clear, golden amber. Truly outstanding clarity. The head was about a half finger of bone-white foam that dropped to a thin skiff after a couple minutes, but was easy to reconstitute with a twirl of the glass.
Nose was fruity and "dank", in that order.
Up front, the flavor is of tropical fruit-like hops. Nectaron, Simcoe Cryo, and Mosaic were the hops used. I suspect it's Nectaron leading the charge. Finish is piney and "weed-y".
Medium bodied, with an oily, resiny mouth feel.
A more "new school" approach to the WCIPA sub-style. Definitely should still keep a traditional fan of those happy, though. Uprise is doing great work with their iPAs. Maybe the best, locally. Great stuff.

The description of the beer says it all. A typical west coast IPA, a good blend of bitterness and fruitiness. Hoppy, short lasting bitterness for the after taste.
