Pint consumed at the source.
Opaque yellow color, with an off-white head that left lace on the sides of the glass.
Sweet, tropical and citrus fruit-like hop aroma.
Taste starts out like the nose - very sweet and fruity - but then an acidic bitterness kicks in on the fadeout.
Medium bodied, with a slightly creamy mouth feel.
A pretty good juicy hazy, but not one to make me forsake Uprise's stable of more WCIPA style beers next time.

Poured from 16oz can into my 8th Wonder chalice. Canned 8/13/25 -- just three days ago!
Appearance: medium yellow hue with plenty of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: moderately sweet with a nice fruity character. I'm getting tropical stuff like guava and mango, but also a lot of apricot-ey, peach-y stone fruit. It's really very good indeed.
Taste: not quite as great as the aroma, it's still very good. Earthier than the aroma, with more of the peach and guava coming through. Sweetness is a bit high, but I'll allow it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a really solid hazy. I don't think I've ever bought a beer at a store (particularly one that's almost 300 miles from the brewery!) that was only a couple days old. Fresh as heck. Very good.
