Poured from 16oz can into my 8th Wonder chalice. Canned 8/1/25.
Appearance: pale silver-golden hue with with a decent haze and a thick finger of ivory foam atop.
Smell: rich guava, mango, passionfruit, pineapple ... maybe even a little coconut in there. Dang, son, this beer has it all. Fresh and tropical and absolutely one of the top hazies I've smelled. Just fantastic!
Taste: following on from the aroma, the taste is kind of like a POG piƱa colada -- tropical with notes of coconut and just enough hop burn to know it's all from the hops. Plenty of sweetness but not too sweet for the style. Maybe not as dramatic as the aroma, but still excellent.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a very good creaminess.
Overall: holy crapola, what a great beer. Not only is it well-thought-out and well-executed, this can happens to be really fresh, and I happen to really like the style. I won't say it's the perfect pinnacle of everything a beer can be, but hot damn tamale, it's good!
