Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 8/13/25. Fresh!
Appearance: pale yellow-golden hue with a dash of haze and a thick head of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: moderately sweet with a really earthy hop character; it's not quite juicy enough that I would call it "dank" -- just really earthy and kind of reminiscent of dry herbs to me.
Taste: a somewhat high sweetness in the flavor does complement the earthy, herbal, almost sage-like character of this beer. Like dry grass or something; maybe a little bit of bitter grapefruit rind is in the mix, too. It's clearly well made, and I'm glad I'm trying it, but I don't think I'd go back for seconds.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and a nice creaminess.
Overall: while this seems like a fresh, well-made beer, its flavor profile just isn't super my jam.
