Malts: Pale Ale, Crystal, Black, Chocolate, and Roasted Barley
Hop: Columbus

Deep dark brown color where faint light passes through the edge of the glass. Larger head that settles at a moderate rate leaving a lumpy top. The lacing slides down the face of the glass leaving only a few minor spots behind.
Chalky, unsweetened chocolate nose. Quite dry with maybe a note of dark cherry.
There’s a light sweetness to the taste with an unsweetened cocoa powder flavor. No coffee. The body is thin for the style and the carbonation is slightly elevated. The finish has a bit of bitterness to balance the dry cocoa, but it leaves a long aftertaste.
