This malt driven American Pale has been given a fresh twist with the addition of southern hemisphere hops. Rye malt adds a tart and creamy finish, which combined with the orange rind and passion fruit character of the hops delivers a clean and balanced summer ale.

Purchased at the brewery in January 2026 and drunk in March of that year.
L: Thick orange in the glass, with a moussy, white head that quickly fades, leaving a thin cover of head and lots of lacing on the side of the glass. The beer poured from the can with a rush of unexpected sediment at the end, making the beer darker and thicker-looking than it would otherwise have been.
S: The nose is citrus peel, passionfruit and mango. Not at all what one expects from a rye blonde ale, but very nice!
T: Delicious! Citrus peel and peppery rye malts blend into a very tasty, extremely moreish bitter-and-tangy medley. The aftertaste is all rye malt. Bitterness feels high, but is probably accentuated by the rye.
M: The body of the beer is full and smooth, with mild but sherbetty carbonation.
O: Very enjoyable and gone in a flash. I wish I had more!
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
