Gifted for my birthday in August 2022 and drunk shortly thereafter.
L: Rich yellow. Hazy and opaque. Thin, short-lived head. No lacing.
N: Orange, orange peel, pineapple. Smells sweet, like an Orange Split, which is a classic Australian ice cream with a sherbety icy outer covering over an ice cream base. Mmmm..... Orange Split...
T: Grapefruit, grapefruit peel, and pith. Spicy, over-fermented pineapple. Some sort of spirit - tequila? No, it's pine needles, at least according to the can. I can't shake the thought now that the taste is menthol. Whatever it is, it's weird, and it detracts from all that went before it.
[After writing this review and coming across similar taste profiles in other hazy beers, I read a review that described the taste as shampoo in your mouth. That's as close a descriptor to the actual taste as I've come across. I've since used that descriptor in other beers!]
F: Medium carbonation but otherwise smooth and appropriate for a hazy.
O: That weird end note in the taste is too distracting. It overwhelms all else and takes the enjoyment away from the beer.
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
