Drinking this at Buck Bald Brewery in beautiful downtown Murphy NC with The Red Headed Lady of Snowbird Mountains Brewery fame
Poured from a tap into a pint glass.
Looks very dark brown almost black with a nice foamy tannish head that dropped quickly to a thin cap.
Smells malty, smoky and cherry, sweet.
Taste follows the nose nicely and the smoky flavor is dominant compared to the cherry.
Mouth feel is medium light for the style, without a slick mouth finish.
Overall a very nice example of a Smoked Cherry Porter that I would definitely order again.
