An American style pale ale with a solid malt and heavily hopped with chinook, idaho 7 and amarillo to provide stone fruit and citrus character and a refreshingly bitter finish.

This was purchased at the brewery in March 2024 and drunk in November that year.
L: The beer is a hazy, orangey amber in the glass, with a fluffy, bright-white head. They're hard to see through the haze, but bubbles happily fly up towards the top of the beer.
S: Ripe tropical fruits and stonefruit leap out of the glass.
T: A solid caramel base supports the juicy stonefruit and tropical hop flavours that are the stars of the show. The bitterness is nice and assertive, and the finish is dry and snappy.
M: The beer is quite smooth in the mouth, with minimal carbonic kick on the swallow.
O: This is a fantastic American Pale Ale that drinks effortlessly and which would warrant a second, third and even fourth helping. As usual, I shake my head that this, the last Valhalla Brewing Beer in my fridge, comes from a brewery that was yet another casualty of the ruthless economic conditions in Australia in 2024. What a travesty!
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
