Draught. Ight. Nothing special. Some floral notes.

I enjoyed this Italian pilsner, which can be a divisive style of beer for some. It's not your traditional Central European flavor, but this is starting to become a niche style on its own, and I'm fine with that. Very smooth and drinkable, and not heavy at all. I get the faint honey taste but not the smell. Not sure when I'll be in the area next, but if I see this brewery's other beers somewhere, I'll be glad to give them a try.

Valley Craft Ales Pilsner - Italian
A very light and smooth malt. Exceptionally pale gold color. Butter biscuits, vanilla, cream, and floral hops aroma and flavor makes this pretty unique for this lively style. I usually think of Italian Pilz much more crisp and zippy. This one is velvety. A dash of light spice and whipped cream mixed in to the flavor as well. I can't get over how smooth this is. The unique malt and hops certainly sets it apart.

16 ounce can with no discernible date.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 5/4 inch white head over a nice and bright body with scant lacing. Head recedes down to a cap in a few minutes.
Nose of malty sweetness (honey) with a bit of melon aromas as well.
Taste is slightly sweet and follows the nose quite closely while the finish is slightly spiced.
Good feel with medium body.
Overall, I could drink this all day.
Cheers!
