Clear bright amber with plenty of foam in the Chimay chalice. Modest grainy aroma with a touch of wood. Tasty and toasted with a zingy finish. Some lemony taste and bitter green herbs. Moderate bitterness, but quite distinct after the subtle flavors. Or call it a hoppy lager, same sort of light brew with a hoppy edge. From the 16 oz can purchased at Garden Path at Skagit County airport industrial park. Dated 8/2/23.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 1/6/23; the label calls this a Double Dry Hopped Extra Pale Ale.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a light haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop. Looks good.
Smell: light, fresh, tropical aroma of passionfruit and lemongrass. There's a little toasty malt underneath, and enough sweetness to give a delightful bouquet. Great!
Taste: toasty malt and a floral, lemony hop character that, like many pale ales, yields what I can only describe as a "soapy" character, but in a good way. Tasty and refreshing.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a good carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: a very drinkable pale ale: flavor is good and the ABV isn't over the top. Good stuff.
