Dark black. Delicious. Notes of graham cracker and malt and chocolate and goodness.
Minimal head to it. No real alcohol and it’s well balanced.

16oz can from Tavour. Near black pour, bubbly brown head eventually fades away . Roasty aroma, coffee, dark chocolate and a hint of anise. Taste is roasty and bitter, cacao, mocha and licorice. Light bitterness lingers.

This checks all the boxes - cola brown pour that settles black in the glass with a creamy tan head. Absolutely beautiful. The nose features chocolate (of course), caramel, and a bit of stone fruit (plum and raisin).
It’s the stone fruit that keeps this from being too sweet, with the plum and raisin flavors balancing the decadent chocolate and caramel flavors. The slightly creamy mouthfeel is the excellent finish to a beer I’d keep in my beer fridge at all times if I had access to it.
