Brewed with Bohemian Pilsner malt, Munich malt, Flaked Rye, and a touch of de-husked roasted malt. Hopped entirely with Czech Saaz in the kettle, then open-fermented cold with our house lager yeast.

Dark red-amber-brown with plenty of foam in the tall goblet. Light mouthfeel with malt and grains in the taste. Aroma of roasted malt with a musty touch. Flavor is more grain with a touch of malty sweetness, along with something nutty. Really quite pleasant, and a better than average dark Lager. Aftertaste is that roasted barley with a watery, refreshing mouthfeel. From the 16 oz can purchased at Garden Path. Dated 1/2/24.
