Well, the name is accurate! Taste has yeasted bread loaf with lemon, grapefruit, lime pith, flowers and grass, and tangerine with a sweeter malt backbone. Smell is more traditional yeast with citrus hops. Feel is dry and bright, hops are stronger but bond well with yeast and bright malts, sneaky juicy for style. This is strange for sure, new world to the point of almost forsaking the style (the yeast anchors enough). Don't hate it, but hard to jive with it as an english pale. Murky orange body with an eggshell white head.

Clear tawny amber brew with adequate foam in the Stella Artois goblet. Oddly the carbonation is really sharp-- usually I'm the last to complain about lots of spritz, but it is about as far as you can get from anything English-inspired. Watery body. The rough hoppy taste is green stuff, seeds, and stems with a bitter aftertaste. The flavor is more like hoppy dishwater, but then you're getting a lot of flavor in a modest ABV. In this case I could do with less of that paper towels and caramel taste. From the 16 oz can purchased at Special Brews. Dated 08/05/25.

16oz can from Tavour. Dark golden pour, cloudy, small foamy head. Malty aroma, toffee, leather, tobacco. Taste is malty and mildly sweet, caramel, with a tiny bitter bite to finish it.
