Clear tea-colored amber brew with adequate foam in the Copper Kettle goblet. Aroma of cereal and cookies. The taste is malty in the musty English tradition with a little sweetness. Some flavor of roasted grain and an herbal note. Mild but distinct bitter tang. Overall this is quite quaffable and pleasingly lower alcohol, I wouldn't say it's much like an English Bitter but it's a friendly brew with less hop toxins. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 1/4/2025.

Poured from 16oz can into a dimpled mug. Canned 11/4/25.
Appearance: medium orange hue with a moderate haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam atop.
Smell: malt is rather bready and biscuity, and the maple syrup comes through nicely without being overpowering. Usually I'm not a huge fan of biscuity malt aromas, but here they are balanced in such a way as to just make this beer read as exceedingly autumnal. I like it.
Taste: like the aroma, there's a ton of that biscuity malt character, along with some sweetness, maple, and a general breadiness. Bitterness is moderate, and the overall character is rather earthy. I like it, but that biscuit malt is a drawback to me.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: while maybe I could lose some of that malt biscuitiness, this is still a super drinkable beer: low ABV and just bitter enough to leave us wanting a little more. Definitely worth checking out.
