BLACK NETTLE IS OUR STOUT BREWED WITH LOCALLY FORAGED STINGING NETTLES. THIS STOUT WAS MASHED WITH PALE ENGLISH, CRYSTAL, PALE CHOCOLATE, CARAMELIZED OAT, AND TRITICALE MALTS. WE HOPPED BLACK NETTLE IN THE KETTLE WITH SPALT SELECT AND ALLOWED IT TO STEEP WITH FRESH STINGING NETTLES, THEN OPEN-FERMENTED IT WITH OUR HOUSE PUB ALE STRAIN. SPUNDED FOR NATURAL CARBONATION.
