Taster at brewery. Foggy golden pour, thin, silky head, solid lacing. Aroma is ripe citrus, floral. Taste comes in hard, grapefruit peel, lemon, berries, floral. Dry zesty finish. Light bodied.

A single twelve ounce can's contents were emptied into a clear pint glass. The brew is brightly amber, with a golden tint. It is almost completely opaque. There's only a very modest just-off-white film passing as a head. Not particularly aromatic, traces of woody hops and even a little smoke can be had. Its taste includes more sweetness than expected. Although it's more cloudy than hazy, fine line, of course, this drinks much more like a typical NEIPA than its ABV would lead on. Maybe not quite as soft and smooth as some, but not far off. There's almost enough from the quartet of hops; Lutus, Mosiac, Citra and Cashmere to deal with the sweet backbone. At least the sweetness isn't overly fruity, this really shouldn't remind anyone of mangoes and passionfruit. Overall, this is average for its style. It hides the 8% ABV well and there's just enough hoppiness to say, "Yea, this is an IPA". But, unfortunately the most outstanding characteristic here is the distractingly sweet and unlayered backbone. The level of hoppiness wold be fine, were the body less sweet and more earthy. Almost no glass lacing was noticed through this event.
