Poured from tap at the brewery. Dark brown body with a good head. Excellent lacing during the tasting.
Tasty malt nose with light bubblegum aroma. Taste follows nose and adds chocolate notes. A mild bitterness nicely balanced the malt.
Good carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel make this one an easy drinker.

12 ounce can, looks like the stamp on the bottom says canned 03/07/25. Thanks to Brutaltruth for this! Served in a dimpled mug, the beer pours a dark brown color with about an inch and a half tan head that stuck around a while. There's also a good amount of lacing. The brew smells like caramel, toasted malt, dark chocolate and some earthiness. The taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some dark fruit (figs) noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. Thought this was a decent enough brew, certainly worth picking up a can or 2 if you come across some!

From the 12 oz can in a snifter. This decent little hybrid pours a dark
muddled brownish black with a nice head of khaki foam that settles to
a thick ring, thin clumping layer, and sports some light lacing. Nose of
toasted malts, subtle dark chocolate, and subtle caramel. Flavors
follow the nose with toasted malts, light caramel, dark bakers chocolate,
and light breaded malt notes. Mouth feel is medium leaning towards medium
light, smooth, easy drinking, and finishing with a light grain note.
Overall, a unique brew, would love to try this one fresh on tap.
Cheers

It's a stout for those who don't want a thick stout or porter, a stronger beer for those tired of the light or floral. Great mix of spices reminiscent of Oktoberfest but not overdone. The light crispy fruitiness of a Kölsch takes the backseat in this dark version. An overall triumph, and will easily keep a spot in my cellar.

The pour is russet colored with a medium amount of carbonation. The taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, & toffee. All in all, this beer had all the main characteristics of a traditional Munich Dunkel Lager. Cheers! B
