A: Pour a dark brown nearly black color. A dense beige head forms that gently recedes to a ring. Light lace is left behind.
S: Toasted and very light roasted malt aromas. That range from baked bread, light chocolate. Very enjoyable.
T: Like the nose, all the nuanced malty flavors are here and better. Toasted, baked brown bread, light roast with just a touch of chocolate. A touch of earthy hops in the mix as well.
M/O: A medium body, with moderate...though still crisp carbonation. Becomes ultra smooth, finishes beautifully clean and dry. Oh this is one I can drink a lot of. Downed in big gulps, and am wanting another.
An all around excellent Schwarzbier, and probably my favorite from Black Page so far. A really well done black lager, and I would highly recommend this.
