I thought this was supposed to be some kind of a dark lager, tasted like a craft version of it for being all hopped up, then it turns out that it is a brown ale. Thought it was a Mexican beer, turn out it is produced by a soda company in Germany who says that the beer itself is made in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Amyhow, it is nothing to write home about. Kind of a gimmick Germans made for other Germans, jumping on the Mexican bandwagon. “It is crafty, it is traditional, it is made in Mexico” - and there you have a PR. The beer itself was somewhere on the lighter side, but at least not annoying or overwhelming. A bit too crafty for a common Mexican beer.
