Appearance: Rusty amber brown in my pint glass at Turoni’s on a pleasant late Summer afternoon.
Aroma: Malty, toasty and roasty, with touch of smoke. Very Autumnal.
Taste: Strong and malty, with plenty of roasty and gently smoked malts. I get some caramel, chocolate, some spice, and a tinge of sweet up front with some bitterness near the finish. Like an amped-up British brown ale, this one’s packed with flavor and worth a try.
