Really dark for a wit. Extreme haze. Almost like it's in a frosted glass mug. Dark peach color. No head.

As it warms, the different spices coriander and orange peel really develop. Yeasty.

A nice flavor, comparable to other beers on the market. Lots of pepper, though it's not overpowering. Orange peel is a pleasant addition. Cracker like malt backbone.

Mouthfeel is crisp and refreshing. Tart and lightish bodied. Faint bitterness in the finish. Dry.

An easy drinker. No real hop presence, nor do you notice any alcohol. Goes down easy and is nice for the warmer weather.

I had this on-tap at Turoni's here recently while visiting family.

Served with an orange.

A: Poured a fairly cloudy, slightly darker than straw color, without much head at all which was slightly disappointing.

S: Lots of citrus, but maybe at least part of that was due to the added orange. I also got a hint of coriander, but not much.

T: This was a tad on the thin side, but not too much so. I will say that this goes down very easily and because it was so hot outside on the day I went, that actually worked in its favor. The spicing was rather tame and was definitely kept in check to appeal to the masses.

M: Despite the lack of head, the carbonation bit was decent, but still could have been spritzier. The lacing was minimal.

O: This wasn't bad, but it was nothing to write home about.

Pours a cloudy light orange. Bartender didn't put much of a head on it so there was basically no lacing. Oh, and be sure to tell them that you don't want an orange slice, otherwise that shit will be right there.

The aroma is coriander and citrus. Orange-y, for sure. Nothing terribly strong, though.

The flavor isn't quite authentic wit, but it is really pleasant. The coriander and orange come through well enough, but the wheat malt is more dominant than your usual wit. It doesn't have the medicinal snap that I like in my wits, but I still really dig it.

Mouthfeel is creamy and has a fuller body than traditional wits. It's still plenty refreshing.

Drinkability is very good. This stuff doesn't really come off as a traditional wit, but it's a tasty beer nonetheless. It went really well with Turoni's kickass pizza.
