Enjoyed a pint on tap of this seasonal in signature Turonis glassware on a cold night at the Main Street brewhouse/pub.
Appearance: Nearly black, but the dim lighting didn't help in deciphering any highlights. No sign of any lacing on glass.
Aroma: Chocolatey, roasty. Not bad.
Taste: Chocolate, more than anything else. Body seems really light (even watery) but very smooth. Easy drinking and tasty enough, though I'd prefer a little more heft to the beer. As it was, complemented my mushroom pizza just fine.

It's dark, but only a deep brown, not black like I was hoping.
The scents are gentle, but if you try you'll pick up some bittersweet chocolate and coffee.
Has a good coffee taste, subtle.
A nice creamy mouthfeel, with a slight bitter finish.
Very drinkable, goes down easy leaving you begging for more.
