Out of a bottle this beer (which was hand-delivered to me by a gorgeous Russian from her hometown of Penza - and I have been unable to find any other record of it, anywhere) was a perfectly clear, 14K gold color. The rising carbonation was nice and the head snow white in color. The retention was so-so but the lacing in sliding curtains. The aroma was of corn, macro-grains, pale malt and hints of toasted malt and hops. The flavors were actually better developed than I would have guessed, a very agreeable balance of pale malt, lightly toasted malt, herbal hops and some corn-like grains in the background. Very easy to drink and refreshing. The mouthfeel was smooth, the carbonation perfect and the body light. For the style this beer was totally on point and highly sessionable.
