look: 3.75 | smell: 3.75 | taste: 4 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.5
Taste: spiced dark malts, caramel, semi sweet, some dry hopped notes, hint of toffee, or coffee bean notes. Balanced hoppy and malty nose. Dark Amber/copper color hue, mostly clear, with white head and Belgian lace. Medium body. Reminds me of some Red ales many years ago.

On tap at the Brewery - Batavia, IL
L: reddish-brown body; khaki head leaves chunky lacing down the glass
S: fruit, malt, floral citrus, pine
T: well balanced and complex: caramel malt, bread crust, fruity, floral, grapefruit, earthy pine
F: fuller body, moderate carbonation, dry & bitter finish with some residual malty sweetness
O: delicious Imperial Red - it’s one of my favorite styles and this one is done very well
