1/3 draft at GBBF Winter, 2024 vintage. Amber pour with a bubble head. Malty aroma, light fruity notes. Taste is malty, sweet, caramel, orange peel. Medium consistency and feel with some of the ABV showing up at the finish.

Canned in a crafty craft can and subtitled as a dry hopped barley wine
Pours a fairly clear golden body with good white head
Aroma betrays the dry hop with battery acid lemonade and grapefruit
Flavour
Tastes like a highly hopped barley wine which what it is

On cask at the NI CAMRA fest, 2005
Pours with a light amber body. Almost zero head, this was straight from cask and not through a sprinkler so its to be expected.
Smell, strong esters coming off immediatly, nuttiness and a whack of alcoholic fumes
Taste, sweet estery and alcoholic, this one doesnt hide its abv too well it tastes very much like an 11% beer. Malty background and a slight hop bitterness on the finish
A pretty good barleywine, dangerous stuff too
