L- Pale straw, a trace of haze, pours with 1Cm white head. [15mins later, holds well, forms lacing on the way down].
S- Smells of hipster.
T- Chinook and Columbus hops render this a dry-hopped contemporary profile lager
F- It's well carbonated in the mouth and pretty hoppy-dry. Surprisingly the feel overall holds up ok considering it's a modest 4.1% ABV.
O- After a number of naffly named beers from Ridgeway Brewery ('Bad Elf' etc) the styling finds me rather jaundiced. The lable refers to this as 'suspiciously seasonal'; unclear what season, doesn't fit with Xmas, might be better suited to high summer? Overall *for me* the hops are too prominent, and the reward from decent Feel is lacking. Not one I'd drink again.
440ml can bought from TremblingMadness/York for home delivery. BB 21/11/21
