The latest from the Funk Dungeon is our interpretation of a Bretted Lager. After primary fermentation with classic lager yeast, we've pitched a blend of Brettanomyces and our house sour pitch. Lagered in a combination of ex-wine and neutral American Oak casks for 14 months, to provide a well balanced beer with crisp bitterness, backed up by refreshing acidity.

440 ml can, from Bier Huis, Ossett. ABV is 5.2%. Gluten free. Deep golden colour, minimal head. Aroma of brettanomyces / farmhouse, oak, farmhouse kitchen and oxidised apples. Moderately sour and funky flavour, hints of oak and sour apples. Very refreshing.
