A classic stout inspired by our heritage, our location and the history of the city we call home.
A carefully selected combination of six different malts brings a pronounced roastiness to the body and flavours reminiscent of a rich, dark chocolate. A gently spicy hop character provides a balanced bitterness before rolling into a smooth and long-lasting finish.
Vegan and Gluten Free (Brewed using Brewers Clarex)

Copenhagen 8/8 2024. 44 cl can from The Beer Hive, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Purple can with a cityscape where mugs with foaming dark beer suddenly appears.
Pours clear dark brown with a red hue. Big off-white head. Stable. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam completely covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet odor of dark malts, light roasts and a whiff of something earthy. Caramel and toffee. Leather and tobacco.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Solid and not too heavy Stout.
