Copenhagen 26/8 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Two hands holding a picture of a Bird Cage and a bird resting nearby. Very Magritte.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty and fruity odor with a yeasty touch. Sweet pale malts, shampoo, pear and peach. A bit of citrus. Dry vibe.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Fine, fruity and floral Golden Ale.

440 ml can, as Abbeydale Deception NZ Pale Ale, from Bier Huis, Ossett. ABV is 4.1%. Hazy pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Moderate aroma, hints of crushed white grapes and dust. Citric mouthfeel. Fruity and spicy flavour, hints of crushed gooseberries and white pepper, distinct bitterness in the finish.

L- Pale straw, pours with slight haze and 5mm white foam cap, forms copious lacing on the way down.
S- Smells of hipster, ie bitter fruit. More seriously it's mildly citrus. around the grapefruit part of that spectrum.
T- Zesty, citrus, initially notably bitter on the tongue. The citrus is quite mild and non-specific for me.
F- Somewhat numbing on the tongue, this is more discernible than the specific fruit note in the Taste^
O- I'd feared this was going to be an undrinkable hipster hop-bomb, but no it's nothing like that. It's light in body and the citrus taste + hoppy dryness are the most prominent aspects. I'd likely enjoy this a notch more in summer than deep-January; it's hardly a typical winter beer for me. Better than I anticipated but with so many new beers to try I'd not have reason to buy it again.
440ml can BB: 07/12/2021 Bought from TremblingMadness/York for home delivery to London.
FWIW - my reviews are written having only read the beers name+style. No reviews from here, no other detail from the can/bottle.

16th June 2012, CAMRA Investors Club AGM: Victoria, Beeston.
Hand pulled pint: this pale yellow brew with its thin white head of smooth foam had a citrusy nose and taste; grapefruits came to mind as I supped my way through my second pint of the day. Quiet complicated flavours and tastes with the 4.1% ABV sitting nicely in this well balanced and easy drinking and refreshing beer.
