7th July 2012 saw my first visit to The Old Post Office in Birmingham where I had two hand pulled pints of real ale: this being the second one.
Dark looking brew; with a good head that produced some impressive lacing on the glass sides. Malts all the way with this beer, roasted/toasted and baked; sweetish but not overly so, there is an undercurrent of hop bitterness throughout the beer and it’s all the better for it.
Tastes stronger than the 3.9% ABV which I always think is a good thing: enjoyed it.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
