Single can from the brewery in Hope in mid October 2024 - no packaging date noted, so at least 3 months old (those months are on me).
Near clear bronze coloured pour with a finger plus of just off white head and quite nice lacing.
Floral hops and grainy cereal malt on the nose, some soft citrus notes and a little bit of spicy character - some nostalgic aroma of Molson Canadian from my youth.
Sweet and malty on the palate - cereal grains, almost hints of corn, definitely floral with grapefruit and grapefruit peel with a soft but persistent back end bitterness.
Solid medium mouthfeel with slightly subdued carbonation detracting slightly - short lingering bittersweet finish.
Very drinkable and enjoyable, if not otherwise remarkable.
